DrawbackAI ("DrawbackAI," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Stable Software, LLC, based in Troy, Michigan. We provide software that matches your imports to your exports, applies US Customs' duty drawback rules under 19 USC § 1313, and estimates the refund you may be able to recover. This Privacy Policy applies to our marketing site and the DrawbackAI application (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. Name, work email, company name, and related details you provide when you create an account, request an estimate, or contact us.
Trade data you upload. The import and export records you submit so we can produce a drawback estimate — for example entry summaries, commercial invoices, HTS classifications, duties and fees paid, quantities, dates, and export documentation. This data may describe your business, your suppliers, and your customers.
Usage and device information. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access, collected automatically when you use the Service.
Communications. The contents of messages you send us through the contact form, email, or support channels.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Produce, explain, and improve your drawback estimates, including showing the math behind each matched line.
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, and develop new features.
Respond to your requests, provide support, and communicate with you about your account and the Service.
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your trade data, and we do not use the contents of the import and export records you upload to advertise to you.

3. Sharing and filing partners

We share information only as needed to run the Service and only with parties bound to protect it:

Service providers. Vendors who host our infrastructure, store data, send email, and provide analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Filing partners. When you choose to move from an estimate to an actual drawback filing, we may share the relevant data with the customs brokerage or filing partner you authorize, so the claim can be filed through their ACE account. We share this data only with your direction.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DrawbackAI, our users, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

4. Data retention

We retain account information and uploaded trade data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, support an estimate or filing, and meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. Because duty drawback operates on a multi-year window, some records may be retained for an extended period to support a claim. You may request deletion of your data as described below, subject to those obligations.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices for the trade data you upload. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the link below; we will respond consistent with applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

DrawbackAI is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
